Nick & Stephy

I met Nick and Stephy in the hallway of my apartment building after I got a puppy and we discovered we had the same kind of dog. We became fast friends and have spent countless hours sitting on the floor in the hallway playing with our pups. One day I heard a knock at my door and it was Nick- he decided he couldn’t wait any longer and was going to be proposing to Stephy that night.

The wonderful folks at the Paramount Theater graciously allowed Nick to have them customize the marquee sign after that evening’s show was over, so at 11:30PM, he proposed.

He knew that Stephy would do anything for me, so we planned an elaborate story of how I was taking my dog for a walk, tripped and fell, and needed help getting back home. Stephy, being the angel that she is, sprung into action and ran around the apartment shouting for Nick to grab their first aid kit and a snack in case they had to stay with me at the emergency room for too long, amongst other things.

It had started raining by then, so he led her outside (to a spot we had practiced at earlier in the day) in front of the theater- and to say she was surprised would be an understatement! The photos turned out so dreamy and I was so honored to be able to capture such a special moment for such special people. You can see the video of the proposal at the end of the gallery!
